Sauvie Island Senior Photos

Sauvie Island is an amazing place to take senior photos: this area has it all: beaches and orchards; flower farms and fields; views of the river and tall oak trees and wide open spaces. I have a few spots on the island that are my favorite places to shoot, especially in the evenings, when the sun is low. Sometimes, we even spot a few deer as dusk settles in. Taking your senior photos on Sauvie Island is a great option if you want room to move and nature vibes and a true Oregon feel to your images.

In the summer, you can find fields of sunflowers and patches of strawberries and in the fall, the dahlias are in bloom and apples and pears dot the branches of trees in the orchards around the island. The bridge that connects Portland to the island is picturesque and a beautiful spot to shoot it the early morning. IF you go further onto the island, there are some beautiful beaches along the river.
