Meet Shelby - Your Wedding Photographer
I’m Shelby. I’m the mama of two teenagers, a fan of the forest and tacos and I have a severe case of wanderlust. I’m constantly packing hard-cover books onto my carry-on and I love a good picnic and the blossoms in spring and I love photographing weddings. As an Oregon Wedding Photographer, I have been working with amazing couples for 15 years. Love has taken me all over the world, and I’ve photographed ceremonies in Chile, Hungary, Joshua Tree, Mexico and the hills of Vermont. I have the best job in the world: I get to be with couples on their most joyful day, capturing all the beauty, all the celebration, all the emotion and all the love.

I Promise You
I promise you that on your wedding day, I will be your cheerleader and your biggest fan. The one who helps you fasten your boutonniere or pin your hair. I’ll be there if you need emotional support or dance floor suggestions. I’ll guide you through it all and remind you to drink water and whisper in your ear that it’s *finally* time for the first dance! I’ll capture all your people when they get caught up in emotion during your first kiss and I’ll find the joy and connection and hilarity. The emotional moments and the loud ones, too!
When you are looking at your photos, years down the road, you will feel the LIFE that happened on your wedding day. You will be transported back into the space of those moments and you will be like: DAMN WE LOOKED GOOD.
The Wedding Process
GET IN TOUCH:: If you are looking for an Oregon wedding photographer, reach out via my contact form/phone call and we will set up a time to chat about all your wedding details and find a package that might be a good fit. Once you are ready to make it official, all we will need is a signed contract and deposit!
ENGAGEMENT SESSION:: I always love it when my wedding couples want to book an engagement session as it makes shooting on the wedding day much more comfortable. You will already know what it’s like to shoot with me; plus it’s fun to have some pics pre-wedding :)
PRE-WEDDING :: We will schedule a phone call 2-4 weeks before your wedding day to make sure everything is on track and that we are on the same page with the timeline
WEDDING DAY :: YAY THE DAY IS FINALLY HERE! Get ready for the wedding day ride of your lives…
IMAGES! :: Expect your gallery to show up on your Gmail doorstep about 6 weeks after your date. In the mean time while you wait, I’ll send over some sneak peeks for you to share with your peeps <3

Should We Do An Engagement Session?!
THE ANSWER IS YES! Engagement sessions are great for a few reasons :
1. They help us get to know each other before the big day
2. They help YOU get comfortable in front of the camera and help you get to know my shooting style
3. You get to walk away with a set of images PRE-WEDDING that you can use for all sorts of things: save the dates, guest books, amazing ART for your walls…
